Ve nihayet bir s\u00fcre sonra, Bazarov inad\u0131ndan vazge\u00e7erek a\u015fk\u0131n\u0131 itiraf ediyor fakat Odintsova taraf\u0131ndan kaba bir bi\u00e7imde reddediliyor. Ancak Turgenyev bizlere Arkadi ve Nikolay’y\u0131n, evliliklerinden ve kirac\u0131lara verdikleri bir \u00e7iftli\u011fi i\u015fletmekten duyduklar\u0131 mutlulu\u011fun, Bazarov’un kozmik \u00e7aresizli\u011fine ve umutsuzlu\u011funa k\u0131yasla bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm oldu\u011funu a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131yor (Arkadi, asl\u0131nda Anna’ya a\u015f\u0131k olmas\u0131na ra\u011fmen, Anna Odintsova’nun k\u0131zkarde\u015fi Katya ile evleniyor).
